Pharma Equipment in the ecological transition. Since our creation in 2005, Pharma Equipment has established itself as a key player in the purchase and sale of machines for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries. Through our business, we "reintroduce" industrial equipment into the economy and allow our customers to consume less carbon compared to new equipment. But we cannot stop there, we continue our actions on a daily basis!
By promoting the reuse of industrial equipment, we actively contribute to the circular economy, a sustainable economic model that limits the waste of resources and extends the life of machines. This approach not only allows us to offer cost-effective solutions but also to reduce the environmental impact of our customers.
Since 2021, we have been offering used spare parts for sale. A way to extend the life of industrial equipment and thus fight against obsolescence. Extending the life of your machine park saves money but also avoids buying new equipment. A machine park with extended life spans means tons less carbon!
WASTE MANAGEMENT:
Whenever possible, we reuse the packaging we have already received (bubble wrap, pallets, film and packaging boxes) to pack the machines we ship.
RECYCLING:
We practice selective sorting of waste via 13 channels: packaging plastic, hard plastics, wood, cardboard, batteries, scrap metal, stainless steel, aluminum, alkaline batteries, glass, polystyrene, electric cables, electric motors to recycle these materials in specialized channels. Almost all of our wastes are recycled!
ECO-GRAZING:
A part of our land is maintained in eco-grazing with sheep. A natural method of maintaining green spaces that enriches the soil and avoids mowing with thermal engines. Managed by a farmer located 7km from our company, we offer our grass and he "mows" our land. We thus promote a win-win exchange!
COMPOST:
We have also set up a composting system to reduce the volume of our green and household waste.
SHARED GARDEN:
We offer a shared vegetable garden to our team to grow vegetables. The capricious Normandy weather does not always help us but the desire is there!
POLINATION:
With the sheep, the bees bring a little life into the industrial area. They allow the pollination of the surrounding flora as well as our vegetable garden!
On our modest scale, we have decided to plant trees and shrubs to promote the development of bird shelters. Indeed, an industrial area is not necessarily the best place for wildlife and the nest boxes we installed last year were useless without the presence of trees and bushes.
Planting trees and shrubs becomes a great goal for 2025-2026!
